Awful experience. They charged me rent for the month after my lease ended. When I contacted them about it, I agreed to pay for a week worth of rent so I could have time to really thoroughly deep clean after moving out, and was supposed to be refunded the rest. They never refunded the rest. I put a ton of effort into cleaning. I spent the full week deep cleaning every detail down the inside of the light fixtures, rented a carpet shampooer, and even washed the walls of smoker damage from the tenant before me (the unit clearly wasn’t cleaned well before I moved in). They refused to give me any of my deposit back because there was a single strand of hair in the sink and I accidentally took an extension cord that I thought was mine. I contacted them letting them know I’d clean the singular hair

This is the worst experience I have had as a renter in 15 years. I did a 1 year lease and moved out 3 months ago. When I moved in the house was disgusting. Cleaners had to come out 3 separate times and still did a horrible job. I had to clean the entire house. There was tons of trash in the house on move in day (lawn mower, shovels, piles of garbage and dirt) broken shelving, cabinets falling off in 2 days, and the entire backyard was covered in trash, broken glass, and appliances. The yard was covered in snow for the first 2 months so it wasn't seen until month 3. There was NOTHING done about it. The doors were broken so anyone could have broken in. Their 'maintenance' people have no idea what they are doing. They barely speak English and did not understand requests. They 'repaired' thing

The unit I rented out was super dirty, definitely wasn't cleaned by the last tenants, and needs A LOT of repairs; doesn't look like repairs have been done in many years. And the new tenants should never have to clean a home before they move into it!!! When I first called to get a showing they set up a time for me and I arrived before they did. I called the property manager and they had a dentist appointment apparently and just told me to let myself in using the key under the door mat! The previous tenants weren't even all the way moved out yet! Their stuff was still everywhere and if I was an untrustworthy person I totally could've just stolen their things. Makes me feel very unsafe about if management would just let random people into my home without me knowing. I have lived here for 4 or

Like every other review that they have, my experience was terrible. The house was always falling apart, we were overcharged for utilities more than once. It's been 6 months since I moved out and after talking to the property manager several times I have still not received my deposit. This is after being told, more than once, that it would be mailed out the next day. I'm going to proceed to report them to the better business bureau. You will have problems if you rent from Maple Leaf Management. I would give them no stars if I could. Update: I reported Maple Leaf to the Better Business Bureau and received my security deposit the next week.

I've been renting from Maple Leaf Management since October. The apartments are dumpy, and they do almost ZERO maintenance on them. When I moved in, there were junk pieces of wood and metal left in the apartment. When I asked their maintenance men to remove them, they placed them outside my apartment landing and never came back for them. I've requested a new water heater, since mine is a 10 gallon tank. Taylor told me the water heater had been approved, and then never followed through. Never called me back. They are now trying to charge tenants $27 in order to pay rent online, and have given no alternative options in paying. Will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.
