Maple Grove Apartments

My husband and I lived here for 2 years. We think the price is great for the area considering a lot of properties in Steilacoom are in the million-dollar range. It meets the basic needs and it's cozy. We didn't have any issues with management. They resolved our maintenance request pretty quickly too. It's a quiet and safe neighborhood. Most of the negative reviews are probably just from negative people.

Have not personally lived here but from what I've heard and what I've seen looks very promising and comfortable also is in a great location and the staff and management I've talked to seem very friendly I'm looking forward to living here hopefully in June if any two bedrooms are available. Maple Grove has always caught my attention as one of the more upper class apartment complexes with good friendly employees and staff.

I would caution against this location or any affiliated properties. Predatory practices. A good friend lived here for 10 plus years. His apartment was never modernized while the rest of the complex was through vacancies. Upon his departure they charged for painting and labor withholding his deposits. Just know your deposits are lost when you move in.

Disclaimer: I never personally lived here. However, I spoke with the manager in depth about the renting process, what it looks like, and how specifically it would affect my girlfriend's living situation. To put it bluntly, the manager and I had a great conversation, and while I am not eligible to move there at this time, the customer service I received is enough for me to write a review and recommend this place to anyone I know. I am very grateful for that experience. If the managers treat potential customers so warmly and with genuine concern, I can only imagine how well they treat their tenants.

I've lived in Maple Grove apartments for over a year and it was a pleasant experience. If you're looking for a roof over your head but in a safe location than this is the place for you. I always had a good experience with the apartment managers, so that really makes all the difference. Very reasonable people. I have never had noisey neighbors in this apartment complex either. Except the occasional music playing on the weekends. The people doing maintenance are super great people! 10/10 will try to fix any problems you have with the unit. The downside was that you needed to walk to the laundry machines and they will sometimes (a lot) ruin your clothes or not really wash them properly. Also, the trash compactor is always full! But overall, 3/5.
