Malvern Manor Apartments

Been touring around places for a while now and nothing has stood out to me until Malvern. The community is gorgeous and the apartments are cozy. Jess was a great tour guide through it all and really helped me to envision what home would look like at Malvern. Beautiful property!

Don’t move here! The floors are thin, its cockroach infested (despite having pest control) and the company only cares about manicuring the lawns obsessively. I lived here for 13 months and then if I wanted to renew my lease, Malvern Manor wanted over $400 more per a month to renew for another 13 months. What a joke. Oh and the pool is dirty and full of non residents on the weekend. The office agents do absolutely nothing to help. When we reported the cockroaches after about the 6th time, we got a response from someone at the front office saying “sorry you’re still dealing with those pesky little things”. The lawn care goes on about three days out of the week with loud leaf blowers and people yelling outside your window. If only Malvern Manor spent more of that money towards renovating kitc

We lived at Malvern Manor for over two years and loved it! The staff is wonderful and very responsive to any requests we had. Lots of nice residents, a good gym, and the pool is lovely. It’s a great place to live. We will miss it terribly.

I would not recommend this place. The maintenance are very nice as well they just can't fix things. They try but have to come back again and again or just never get it right. The rent goes up a full 10% each year. I got my lease renewal this year and they gave me two weeks to decide. Anything after the two weeks would not be the 60 day notice they require and I have to pay premium rent which is over $2700 a month. This place doesn't care about their tenants. The leasing office just does what they are told they don't have any power. They are sweet but powerless just messengers from the company that is making decisions based on filling their pocket books and not serving the community with a decent place to live. I love living here. The locations is the best in Richmond, with access to all of the city events, museums, expressways. I love my neighbors, who are very friendly and welcoming. The pool is salt water with beautiful fountains, and also well maintained. The pool lights shine with different colors at night...calming and magical. Even though this is an apartment complex in the city, it still has a quiet atmosphere. The grounds are beautifully maintained with blooming plants and trees year around. As a former home owner, the most amazing aspect is the quick, efficient and friendly maintenance crew. This truly feels like home with none of the work.
