Mallard Point Apartments

I think they did something to take down bad reviews, because my 2 star review, along with a host of other 1 and 2 star reviews from 2 years ago are no longer there. - Upon moving in, the apartment smelled of gas. Called the office, they said they put in an emergency maint. request, I never got contacted. Had to call 2 more times before they sent someone to check on it. We moved in during the pandemic, and there was nothing to do. - My wife tried organizing food trucks and other free "events" at Mallard Point. She submitted her ideas to the front office (JoAnn), and was told things would be reviewed. After 2 weeks of no responses, she organized the event anyway. We received an angry email from JoAnn that no events may be held on the property without review and consent. My wife did not

Don't listen to Veronica's one star review. There is no cleaning fee to move in, she clearly misunderstood how apartment applications work. I've renewed my lease at what I consider the cleanest, most spacious, and most comfortable apartment I've ever stayed in. Rachel and JoAnn are both extremely friendly and helpful, they'll always hold packages for you and explain details on your bills and inform you of any upcoming entry to your apartment for cleaning/maintenance/etc. Facilities are great, community is friendly, my only issue is occasionally having to park several apartments over but that's what happens if I stay out really late in a full building. I highly recommend these apartments. Just be warned that the cities of Channahon and Minooka have little to offer.

I just signed my 3rd lease today. I can not say enough good things about this place. I am so comfortable here! The apartments are so cozy, I love the privacy and the upkeep of the outside common areas are amazingly on point. They are continuously updating and maintaining these areas. If I ever have a question the office staff is super easy to reach and always attentive. Everything is on first name basis, not an apt number, that makes me feel more at home and part of the community. I am planning on renting the clubhouse for a Family event and Rachel sat down and talked to me about the planning , she is always so super helpful!! I highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a place to live in this area. I have absolutely not one complaint about my last two years here!

Told the property manager I had a chapter 13 bankruptcy that I was paying off and requested they wait to run my credit until after which was going to be 3 days later. They agreed and then the Manager ran my credit after taking my $50 dollar application fee and denied me for having an outstanding bankruptcy still.

If you want to bring a pet it has to be declawed, which is a painful, unnecessary procedure with lifelong physical and psychological effects on a cat or dog. If a business is willing to push unethical practices on your pets I can only imagine what other unethical practices they engage in.
