Maizon Durham

I toured Maizon and was treated exceptionally by Anthony. The units are beautiful, new, bright and modern. The concessions they are offering are very fair for the area, but my building decided to work with me on my rent renewal, due to the competition in the area. I absolutely would have moved here, the view from the 7th floor facing the city was truly hard to pass up, the building is modern. amenities fantastic and it is close to everything you need downtown. Thank you Anthony for your time and efforts with me, you truly went above and beyond.

Recently moved into this complex and the building and staff are incredible. Staff is very attentive and easy to get ahold of over email or phone. Its a new building so of course there are some "growing pains". For example, my front door was slightly unaligned with the lock but maintenance fixed it as soon as I mentioned it to the leasing staff. The amenities are really nice and I can tell the staff are always looking for any ways to improve resident satisfaction. Special shout out to Anthony in the leasing office who even helped me unload some extra heavy furniture when I got myself in over my head!

My first few weeks living at The Maizon in downtown Durham have met all expectations. Leasing process was smooth, communication during move-in was clear, everything in my apartment is working great, and I love the location.

Would I recommend? Yes How long have I been here? Two solid months. Move in process? Smooth. Welcomed with a ballon arc & lovely sign, Maria provided us with an introduction and walk through of our space! ⚠️: Lengthy but honest. Personal Favs: 1. Location, there are a number of resturaunts, bars, entertainment spaces shops (for me ❤ the library & local book store) are all in walking distance. 2. The Bull Ride, a local, FREE transportation system with good people and good vibes that we have used during the Halloween Festival & for Date Nights. ... I’ve lived here for just about a month now. I moved here because I found that it had the best value for money of any apartment I toured in the Triangle when considering the building/unit quality, location, and tenant experience. In case it’s useful for those searching for a place to live, here are some of my experiences: - The building itself is brand new and was thoughtfully designed. It doesn’t feel like some of the copy+paste apartment buildings springing up around the Triangle. - The location is great - easy access to 147 and walkable to some of my favorite locations in Durham. - The staff is responsive and kind. It’s a new building, so there are still some kinks in their processes that could be worked out, but they offset this with what feels like a sincere desire to be helpful. - T
