Main Street Homes at Collington East

Nice homes (better than Ryan homes and DR Horton) but Main Street does not keep their promises. We were told when we were initially purchasing in Collington East that the pond would have a fountain, walking trail and lights around it. We later found out through the HOA that none of that was happening. Instead the pond is staying as-is so it’s just standing water that attracts mosquitoes. We were told that there were going to be parks, so assumed that meant playground equipment, but it’s just a patch of grass and a couple of park benches right in the entrance of the neighborhood and on a main road which isn’t a safe place for anyone to take small children so it’s basically useless… unless you enjoy sitting on a bench and listening to traffic. They try to claim the lending library as an amen

MSH is building some beautiful homes. I like the community layout. There are no amenities here. There is a short term agreement to use some of neighboring Collington amenities but the residents of Collington get priority, so don't go looking at the community thinking you're part of Collington and have access to all their stuff. Its also interesting how costs have risen between the to neighborhoods, WOW! Once finished, it should be a beautiful community, close to so much.

The homes that are constructed by Main Street Homes are not only gorgeous but are designed with a family's dream in mind. The seller agent, Erik Markowitz, is fantastic to work with. Houses are cute but I personally do not like seeing them tare down the trees to build these homes . That are going to fall apart before you know...
