Magnolia Village Apartments

Magnolia village is in a great location and perfect for my household. Close stores. Close schools. The staff is great, very friendly and professional. Destin’e is always a great help and wealth of info. The assistant property manager Lizette is very friendly and great for a conversation. The property manager Savanna is extremely understanding and not at all cold as other property managers I have dealt with in the past. She has helped me and my family through tough spots in the past and has a great amount of appreciation from us. The maintenance team is quick and very effective. I have lived at another property close by and can honestly say my experience over the last four years here were night and day by comparison in almost every facet. Office staff is so wonderful and friendly! This is the best apartment complex to live in! Maintenance staff is always so helpful, informative and kind. Complex stays clean and fresh paint on parking spots! I am beyond happy with my stay!

The neighborhood itself and units are fine. Aside from our move in date being pushed back so they could “finish getting the unit ready”. Not sure what this entailed but there were nails sticking up all over the kitchen and a cabinet shelf that hadn’t been installed and was instead painted over. The main issue came when trying to move out. We were sent a bill with all sorts of move out fees, and then told that Magnolia Village would update the total to be significantly (over $1k) less than originally billed. After calling and checking on the status of this multiple times over the course of a few months we were repeatedly assured it was being handled. Lo and behold the account was sent to collections. Out of all the apartments I have toured in the area, this one stood out because of JaBria. She gave such an incredible tour. She was so attentive, remembered the smallest details about me, was so kind and never made me feel overly pressured to sign a lease. I came in with a list of questions and she hit every single thing without me needing to ask. She wasn't trying to sell me an apartment, she was trying to genuinely help me find my next home. That's not something I have felt anywhere else in Jacksonville!

Gnat infested apartment only thing they do is spray pest control which doesn’t work. People do not pick up after their dogs, dog crap everywhere. People steal packages from your front door. The gate is always broken.
