Madison At Soho

A great South Tampa location to live & that's about it. Pest Control companies constantly coming for pest control as a major cockroach issue is at this complex. They are in the walls & travel from condo to condo. The only way to remedy this problem is to tent the entire complex. You think the owners at Madison at SoHo are going to put the residents up for a week in hotels while the facility is tented for roaches???? Think Again.... Your above average nasty & rude HOA, who are friendly as long as tenants don't complain about anything. Forget about getting relaxing pool or jacuzzi time on weekends, as the privileged & obnoxious college students take over everything poolside. The facility itself is beautiful. The landscaping is wonderful and the place is generally clean. The pool is great fun on the weekend, and the hot tub is great on a cooler winter night. However, the walls are extremely thin—you can hear EVERYTHING. If you can get over noisy neighbors, The Madison is truly a great place to live.

The Madison at SoHo is a great place to live. The interior courtyards are beautiful and well-maintained. The Publix grocery store is directly across the street and South Howard Avenue's shopping and nightlife are only a block away. This is a private building with very good locking gates that seem to do their job well. As others have said, it can be loud here if you are unfortunate enough to have noisy neighbors. The interior hallways can be an echo chamber and allow noise to travel. Most people are very cool and respectful. If you want to be near Hyde Park and SoHo, this community is one of the best around. Definitely worth looking into.

If you’re in college or participate in night life at all this is not the place for you. They gave me one warning for being loud and the next time just kicked me out. I’ve been renting for 6 years and never once had a single issue or complaint. Also, they gave me 7 days to leave the apartment complex and when I asked for ONE extra day they said no. Who can find somewhere new to live in 7 SHORT DAYS!? I worked with the musgrave group and they were extremely cruel. Whenever I asked questions Carla was hands down the rudest individual i have ever worked with. Save yourself the stress and $$$. Nothings even modern or new, they have no gym and charge what a luxury apartment costs. Do your research and find somewhere better.

The location is AMAZING. You can walk to Hyde Park, anywhere on Soho, and Bayshore easily. I haven't paid for an uber in almost a year. I know a few of the people who live here don't even own a car. Cons: bugs. Roach problem for sure. I see them sitting outside in the hallway sometimes, and they travel through units. When I first moved in it was really bad, I saw them in my apartment everyday. I asked for an exterminator to come, and he knew the building better than I did! Said he was called here regularly - not a good sign. If you're able to put up with bugs though, it's a great place to rent and buy from.
