Luxe 23

The apartments are modern, nice & spacious. However, the noise from the nightlife is insufferable. Had to leave earlier than what was outlined in my lease because the music drove me crazy. This may only be the case for units facing high street or lower level units right above the nightclub, but it’s something to consider. Neighbors and staff are nice.

Overall the apartments are very nice and fit my aesthetic. However, the construction of the apartment isn’t good. The walls are super thin and you can hear everything your neighbors are doing, right down to their conversations. Most of the residents seem to have no regard for others. Loud music is playing constantly, the hallways reek of marijuana smoke, and the building isn’t kept up well. When I first moved in there was supposed to be a lot of amenities which we had an amenity charge for. It later turned into a $60 fitness fee because our amenities were taken away. The apartment gym isn’t worth $60. You can get a cheaper membership to a real gym. Honestly, it’s just an overpriced apartment and not worth the headache. I was really happy to end my lease. Living at Luxe 23 was an amazing experience, and I'm going to miss it dearly! Teena, along with the rest of the staff, were incredibly helpful and did great at ensuring that the place ran smoothly. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to live! Disclaimer: I prefer living in the middle of everything, so, the location was perfect. However, city noise doesn't bother me - my unit overlooked High Street & I loved it. SO if you're more sensitive to noise, look into units located on the side/or back of the building; If you're looking for a quieter space overall, the short north (or at least living directly on High St.) may not be for you.

Feb. 2025 - I was looking for an apartment, so I called and made an appointment for a tour. I called back to reschedule my appointment. McKinsey never called, never texted, or emailed me to confirm my original appointment nor responded to my calls to reschedule. For FOUR days I called, at least 8 times, to reschedule my appointment. She never got my messages, or heard my calls? She said, "I have been here and never heard the phone and didn't get any messages!" I can safely assume she gives teh same kind of service to tenants if they call for service or help. "I didn't here the phone or didn't get the message." Very unprofessional. I am glad this settled before I took the plunge to sign a lease and get stuck there for next 13 months! - Bob P

I feel safe here because the building is very secure. The staff is nice even though there were some discrepancies in the beginning. The hallways are quiet and my neighbors are nice. With that said, the amenities are a joke. The gym is ok but the tv is hard to work or always need reset, it’s always out of hand sanitizer, towels and water. The “steakhouse” on the first floor has been closed since I moved here in April. They opened it a few times for drinks that are very overpriced but no food whatsoever. The owners of the steakhouse also own the club on the 1st floor treat tenants like outsiders. We cant use the terrace so don’t even think about it because Lux 23 don't own it and the owners are selfish you have to pay to get in the terrace when they open it during the summer. The club house
