Loudon Arms Apartments

I’ve lived here since August 2024. The management is a little lax on getting things done in a timely manner, but everyone is very kind. Seeing the reviews on this complex is very confusing. Maybe I got lucky, but I’ve had a very pleasant experience living here. My apartment is beautiful, my neighbors are wonderful and kind, most importantly I feel so safe here. I’m glad I took a chance even after seeing these reviews.

This very and outdated apartment complex has many maintenance issues that are ignored by the Management team. Management often tried to blame the tenant by saying that they have reason to believe the tenant did xyz to try and distance themselves from repairing issues and charge the tenant for routine repairs. Leaky pipes, foul orders coming from drains, sauna like heat coming from the radiators that management controls during the winter, spiders, cockroaches galore, clogged toilets and drains, warped floors, broken door locks, and stolen property are routine at Loudon Arms. They do, however, maintain the grounds because it is visible. Pool is often out of service.

MANAGEMENT : Worse complex I’ve ever had to live in!! Tristan the Manger is not experienced enough to be running the complex! To avoid dealing with resident problems, he tells his assistant to tell the tenants that he’s not there, as he’s sitting right in the office. Seen it with my own eyes! He stops taking tenants calls when they complain too many times. HEALTH: If you are serious about yours or your kids health, do not move here. The complex reeks of marijuana and cigarettes smoke that seeps from apartment to apartment. All of the doors have a huge gap at bottom, that’s big enough for rodents and whatever smells coming from the neighbor’s across to trickle directly into the next apartment. Management will offer to install door stoppers that does not help in any way or form! The water

This place is affordable, but it is very dated and communication with the rental office is not great. The buildings are old, the cleaning crew only cleans the vestibule areas when they are showing apartments to prospective tenants. The laundry room is not kept up regularly anymore- there has been water leaking from a washer for a few days now, and they just put a wet floor sign up and didn't even bother to unplug the washer so unsuspecting tenantsbdon't end up wasting money on a broken machiene. I was told when I moved in that there would be renovations in my building and that still has not happened a year later. The place is 420 friendly, so if that is not your thing, maybe they have nonsmoking buildings? I'm not sure. When the pool is open that is a great option on a hot day. Overall,

Living out Loudon Arms has been a fantastic experience from day 1. Never in my life have I encountered a more kind and professional staff, who worked with me on every single detail to help me find a new home. Rebecca and Tristan in the office were super helpful and friendly, and even since moving in a few months ago they have been great. The maintenance staff is also very responsive and always come when there is an issue, which is something I did not experience in my last apartment. I would recommend Loudon arms to anyone looking for a nice, affordable home.
