Loma Mariposa Apartments

My Tia has lived in Loma Mariposa Apartments for 4 years and in those 4 years she never received any maintenance and the roof would leak badly. The landlord knew this and didn’t do anything about it. She also wanted to charge my Tia 1,000 dollars that she “owed” knowing that she didn’t. My Tia showed proof because she has all the receipts and the landlord wants to send her to court. DONT RENT HERE!!

The owner of this place is so disrespectful and unprofessional. If someone gives her attitude, she gives attitude BACK! Family members that live here have complained about MOLD, and MAINTENANCE. Would not recommend. GO TO SANTA CAROLINA RIGHT DOWN THE STREET FROM THESE APARTMENTS!

Took over 3 years to get a horrible horrible mold growing up the wall and across the baseboard taken care of downstairs. Had to get Legal Aid involved to get something done. The upstairs has it too. My doctor said I have mold toxin in my body. I asked the manager to come look at it because I wasn't being taken serious....her reply....Oh no I can't go in because I have underlying health issues. I said how do you think I feel with the cancer issues I have....I have to live in it, sleep in it. That's when I called Legal Aid. The apartments look so nice on the outside. Inside beware. Even one of the corporate maintenance men told me the place has a lot of mold when I had him come in and look at it. The roofs leak and nothing was done about the leak in my apartment the 6 years I lived there. I

On Monday, August 6, 2019 I went to ask if apartments were available. The lady told me yes, gave me an application, told me she needed ID, social security cards for everyone and a $25 money order. I asked if I could see the apartments and she said no because they were being painted and fixed and they couldn't show the apartments like that. I asked her again if they were going to have apartments available for September, she said yes. I told her I would bring the application during the week. Today is Friday, August 9, 2019, I took my application, $25 money order and the rest of the information. The lady that told me on Monday that they had apartments for rent, just told me they have none, and they have a waiting list. I have a witness that was with me. I lived there 5 years ago, and it was very quiet very peaceful, it was always very clean, the apartments are very spacious, the bedrooms very big and comfortable...and maintenance always fixed things when needed...Ana Gloria was always very gracious with us...I would live there again for sure. thanks Myrna Hernandez
