Lodge at Croasdaile Farm

I moved here in 2019, and even though the “luxury” apartments are made with all the cheapest materials, it was relatively quiet. That changed! Long story short, I left in 2023, and the place is a nightmare! My brand-new car was stolen right outside my building. Working from home listening to dogs bark all day or your neighbors arguing was annoying. Vehicles rolled through late at night blasting music, and packages were frequently lost. The windows are like paper. On a windy day, you could see your blind swaying with a closed window. Finally, when I moved in in 2019, my rent for two beds and two baths was 1520, and when I left in 2023, it was 2300 a month. The current staff is amicable and helpful. The leasing desk is impossible to get in touch with. We moved out in August and it’s now the end of October. We’re still trying to get in contact with them about our deposit refund. I’ve called at multiple hours of the day, left voicemails and emails for three days straight and no one has gotten in contact with me.

I’ve lived here for over a year and plan to renew for another year. The office is responsive and helpful, namely Kenny who goes above and beyond to take care of residents. Great experience living here so far!

My family and I have been here for about four months now, and we truly have yet to find anything to complain about. From the management to the actual people who live around us this has been one of the BEST apartments we have lived in since we have been in Durham (2011). It’s refreshing to have an atmosphere where it’s not overwhelming loud, people and their adorable pets are sweet, the trails that are attached to the neighborhood across from the apartment are a runners dream! The gym actually has matching weights and machines that work! The list of good things would take me a while. I am a VERY critical person and I don’t really do Google reviews but this is one of the ones that truly deserves it. Please do not let the reviews from years past sway you from at the very least taking a tour.

I have lived here since June 2023. Living here has been pretty good. I would recommend. It is minutes away from multiple grocery stores. Maintenance is comes in a timely manner when requests are put in and the overall apartment and appliances are up to date. Leasing office staff is also nice! Kenny is very helpful
