There like an bird. Cheap, cheap. $4 ceiling lights. On a cloudy day with all the lights on, you can see anything. I guess to hide the poor drywall, ha ha. Low quality windows equals high energy bills. All appliances are entry level, 1 star carpet, laminate floor is duct taped down. Broken trusses. Tinfoil duct work. Shody electrical work. They dig in the middle of winter which in spring thaw, your home falls apart. Nah, there the bottom of the totem pole. I heard a development where the entire front porch on a 4plex fell off in 2023.

LGI has behaved like a predatory hard sell company towards my family. I've now had two interactions with them. These are personal experiences meant to inform the public. In no way am I intending to defame them but my hope is by sharing my experiences this company is brought to justice in some small way. They trapped my aunt and I with my small baby in a 1.5+ hour hard sell. They told us their target customers were those coming from rental backgrounds. We kept asking to look at a few of the homes and they kept stalling until we agreed to a hard credit check, which we refused. Finally they caved and let us see one of their slab homes in Annandale, MN. It was immediately clear that they were using cheap finishings and asking a premium price.
