LGI Homes - Retreat at Fossil Creek

I deeply regret purchasing a LGI home. The quality of work, communication, and customer service have all been extremely disappointing. LGI rushes construction, cuts corners, and then hides behind their “non-warrantable items” list to avoid fixing obvious mistakes. Other issues continue to appear around the house, and LGI’s standard answer is to blame the homeowner instead of taking responsibility. It feels like once they get your money, you are no longer their concern. Buying a new home should bring peace of mind, not constant frustration. I would not recommend LGI Homes to anyone. If you expect quality work, honesty, or accountability, look elsewhere.

Edit: Still being ignored! I wouldn’t even give 1 star! If you are going to come here, make sure you buy a home from Legend NOT LGI! Poor workmanship! The warranty guys Trace and Coyn are absolutely useless! Will ignore you! Nothing gets fixed and to the condition it should be especially for the price of these homes! I have MOLD due to a leaking new refrigerator! The grass is absolute trash! The flooring is bowing up and I’m told that’s just how it’s going to be. The bathroom is crooked and gaps in the countertops that was filled with sealer as the “fix.” Instead of fixing it how it should have been built and what I was supposedly buying! Cracks all across the garage flooring and boards bowing upstairs! Stay far away from LGI homes!

We visited this community recently..it’s in a good location but I mainly wanted to leave a review about the sales rep. They had tattoos all over their hands…which was surprising to see someone trying to sell a home to us to have hand tattoos…I would stay away as we didn’t trust it

My experience with LGI Homes and my Salesperson was seamless from the initial planning to the final handover. The Office Staff were always very approachable and eager to help, making the often-dreaded process of buying a home (especially for the 1st time) surprisingly smooth and stress-free. It also helps you do not have to wait years to see it come to fruition. The engagement of the team as they passed the baton for each process made it easy to understand I would highly recommend LGI Homes if you are looking for a beautiful house to make your lovely home.

We highly recommend LGI homes when purchasing a new home. The people there are very professional and friendly. They were very fast at getting back to us if we ever had a question. From the very beginning they told us the expected date the house would close on and it never changed. We recommend using them when buying a home. We are very happy with our new home.
