LGI Homes - Palm Coast

We had our home built in 2021 by LGI. So we have been in the house for only 4 years. The quality of LGIs houses are very poor. Both of my showers leak, the lvp flooring is cracked in several areas, baseboards were installed poorly, several walls are crooked and the paint job quality was complete garbage. Also, when we first got the house, there was paint in the peep hole and the front door, paint on my carpet in the closet, the exterior wall by the garage reads “Chico” in the stucco, everything was just done very poorly!! Stay away from LGI Homes!!! Very disappointed and would never recommend this home builder!

My wife and I purchased an LGI home over a year ago and my son and his family just purchased an LGI home. We are extremely happy with LGI and the quality construction of the homes. We had an 11th month 3rd party home inspection and the inspector commented this is one of the better built homes he has seen. Only small minor issues were found and immediately addressed by warranty. What makes LGI a great builder to deal with is their employees. Both Phil and AJ have been great. Any warranty concerns are addressed immediately and Phil and AJ are great to work with. Paige and Nick made the buying process easy. Great quality builder with great people working for them plus knowing their quality of construction is reassuring. Thanks LGI!

We’ve been in our home for 5 years and didn’t realize until recently that there’s corrosion on top of the water heater. Too short of a time for it to go out like this!

Overall I am happy with my new home and the construction. The only disappointing thing is they used yellow beach sand to elevate and level my lot. My new sod sits on 6 to 12 inches of plain sand. I am not sure how it will ever stay green unless I continuously fertilize and irrigate. When I plant a tree or shrub I end up removing two 5 gallon buckets of sand and replace with top soil. I have been watching the other builders around me and most use real top soil.

We closed on our house in July 2023 and we're very happy with the entire experience from start to finish. The affordability of LGI Homes was a major draw for us. We love the open floor plan of our new home. The closing process was very smooth. LGI kept us informed every step of the way. We definitely recommend LGI Homes to anyone looking for a new construction home at a great value!
