Disappointing First Impression – Proceed with Caution at LGI Homes If you're thinking about exploring homes with LGI Homes, my experience suggests you might want to look elsewhere for a more transparent process. I simply called to ask for the publicly available Covenants and Restrictions for one of their neighborhoods, so I could check if the rules would suit my lifestyle before investing time in a tour. To my surprise, they refused to share them, citing that it's not their policy to provide this basic information unless you're ready to commit to viewing the homes in person. Instead, they suggested I go to the courthouse myself to obtain it – which felt unnecessarily burdensome for what should be a straightforward request. This place is a joke! DON’T DO IT! I am a homeowner not a renter. I have been here less than 6 months and I’ve already had to replace my door because it had dents, my window shutters were loose and falling off and now the concrete on my front porch is cracking. They will not fix my porch or fill the cracks because according the “boss” Mendoza it can’t be fixed. I was told that the cracks aren’t big enough for them to fix and it’s not within the warranty. At the same time he agrees that it will spread. I was also told that it’s not an issue just because it looks bad. What happens when it spreads? Then you’re gonna tell me that I have to fix the problem. Again, I have been here less than 6 months and it has been problem after problem after problem! If the cracks were on the back porch then f
