I have lived in these apartments since Dec. 97. They are convenient to shops and public transportation. The rent is relatively low compared to other places in Harrisonburg. However, major repair work will not be completed until you move out. The new property manager Priority Property Management is crooked and only concerned with milking you for every dime possible, to the extent of acting in illegal manners. The property owners would be well advised to change their management, otherwise they will soon find every unit empty. Do not believe the listed sizes of the apartments. They are grossly over exaggerated and include outside utility room as "living space". The actual space is 500-550 square feet, not the 900 or 920 you will find listed. We had a positive experience for the two years we lived here. The apartments are well kept and spacious for the price. LOVED the large kitchen with lots of counter space (probably the most spacious kitchen I've ever had in an apartment). The property manager was always nice and responsive whenever we had an issue or needed maintenance. Would recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced apartment in a convenient part of town.

We lived here almost two years and loved the space and conveniences of the apartment and part of town. Rent was very reasonable for the area. The property was maintained very well and we even had a few upgrades to our appliances while here. The property manager Jon was always very helpful and responsive to any concerns we had and he even worked with us towards the end of our lease when our circumstances changed. Highly recommend this place!

Moved out 2 months ago, they told me not to cancel utilities and they were supposed to have utilities out of my name within 48 hours. They have still not done this and are now ignoring my emails on why they still haven't transferred the utilities into their name. I'm still paying the utility bills there. Maintenance is a joke, took weeks to get repairs done. Fridge failed, took 3 weeks to get a new one and was advised to just keep putting ice in the fridge until they can get to it. Went on a month to month lease in March as I was trying to buy a house. Paid rent for June and moved out in the 2nd week of June. They're still charging me for the month of July and August rent. I've been out of the apartment for almost 2 months, havent heard anything about my security deposit, still paying rent

Spent 3 years in these apartments, ‘16-‘19. Fantastic condition upon arrival. The property manager was always quickly responsive to any issues that arose, and has a very agreeable demeanor. Best manager I’ve worked with in my history of renting. These apartments are generally very quiet, compared to other local neighborhoods that may not be due to student populations— this was very nice for me as I was seeking a doctorate at JMU and this allowed me to focus on my work. Of all friends’ apartments I visited in my 6 years in Harrisonburg, I never saw any others with as functional of kitchen space, and it was something visitors would always comment on; I was pleased with the counter space.
