Exceptional Homes, Inc is not a good company to use to build a house. Anything but exceptional! Dwayne does not know what professionalism is. Screams at you when things don’t go his way, verbally attacks you and your family, let alone can’t fulfill the warranty contract he signed. They only warrant what they want and use every excuse to get out of doing the work. They blame you for everything and will not take responsibility for their “finished product.” Our house was a spec home which we got to customize a little bit. We had trouble with our HVAC unit as soon as we moved in, we had to get someone out to look at it and correct it. Which cost us several hundreds of dollars. Seen many builders come and go in this community. It’s a great location with easy commutes between York and Harrisburg. The yards are nice sized and the HOA includes involved neighbors who take pride in their community. I predict a great future for this community as the surrounding area gets developed and becomes sought after.

This is not lek's home. I know him he's my friend and this is not his house. So if you search up liek's house, it will not work.

My husband and I moved in 2 months ago. So far, we have minor things that need repair and have been communicated to Dwayne Deimler within our first 30 days. He is currently working on finishing up two more homes in our phase and has assured us that his company will take care of everything once he is completed the two projects.Up to now, my husband and I are pleased with our home as Dwayne has assured us that he is a man of his word and will honor Exceptional Homes year warranty on our home. I will communicate further once the repairs have been completed and again in 6 months and our one year mark.

Horrible experience. Do not do business with Exceptional Homes. First day in the house, 4 propane gas leaks. 1 month in the house, water leak in the kitchen. 3 months in the house, master bathroom shower water leak causing a decent amount of damage. Builder was notified on all occasions, but never showed up to fix their mistakes. Had an independent home inspector come out and find many areas within the home not up to PA Building Code. A week before we moved in they said we owed them $4,000 more because they forgot to charge us prior to signing all the contracts. After we moved in they said we owed them $700 for something they again forgot to charge us. When we did a "final" home inspection the house was not fully complete, stair railings were on the living-room floor, kitchen cabinets stil
