Moving here was a BIG Mistake its dirty the hallways smell the carpet is filthy in all the hallways you see big dead roaches in the halls and different places it’s infested with roaches which I asked about before moving in I was not allowed to see the apartment until after I signed paperwork immediately saw roaches it’s old the cabinets in the kitchen are peeling apart the appliances are so old the stove handle is breaking the refrigerator door creaks when you open it it’s so loud and old I can’t get a hot shower because as soon as I turn on the hot water it gets cold so I go to my daughters to shower cant cook in the kitchen because the roaches come out my grand kids came to visit and my 7 yr old went in the kitchen and ran out screaming because when she turned on the light roaches were

I love living at Lexington Commons! The management is superb and Donna takes care of the place wonderfully and Bill the maintenance man attends to our maintenance needs almost the same day you put a request in! I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a new place to live thank you Mary Ann

My wife and I are seniors and because I wanted to give myself and my wife a better life we relocated from Schenectady NY to Newport News. I'm a veteran and being treated at the Hampton VA Medical Center. We had no where to live until I spoke with Nisha the facility manager who listened to me and is helping me get connected and part of the Lexington Commons family.

Do not take your time and efforts to move here. Unless you are homeless, I would say stay away. This is a senior living community but there is no community. There are gnats that come out of the drains, maintenance is a single person who is rude, property manager is never available and despite paying rent you get constant letters that it isn’t paid. Over a year after move in, they claim all the deposit has not been paid. They just don’t care and the change of rental companies while keeping this manager is bull. There are no good things when you have to deal with the bad. If someone actually cared about the current residents I would have something positive to say.
