Lents Village

Looks nice but is high crime. People coming in apartments and stealing. Some vandalism in parking lot but mostly inside. No protection against entering your home when you're gone, stealing, etc. I had my lock changed at my expense but the thieves and lowlifes have funky keys that are now breaking my lock. They posted notice divesting management of any responsibility so I have to pay to get my lock fixed. Used to have hot lunches but nothing since 2020 lockdown. Nobody monitored the building during freeze so kitchen had major water pipe break. Tenants did a lot of the cleaning. Rent is going up but as long as people let the thieves and dope dealers in, it won't get better. Update Dec 2024 The same person comes un my place, leaves footprints. THERE ARE COCKROACHES NOW.

A friend lived there and the management does not do her job. The tenents are very unhappy and the place is not clean and smells in the halls. People are very unfriendly . When the new company took over they got rid of the excellent manager and hired this one that doesn't do her job. She was always there for the people and this one is not. She sits in her office and I am told she is very unfriendly to the people. This place is not what it used to be in the past years. It is going down hill fast and that is to bad for the people who loved living there for so long. I hope and pray that something is done to clean tingsup and get this complex back in good shape.

If I could give a ZERO I would. This is a senior apartment building. Whose tenants are required to go to the smoking area to smoke. I totally agree with that...however, maintenance failed to clear packed snow /ice from ANY of the walkways. Lents Village is responsible for any injuries caused by their failure to maintain walkways. I witnessed seniors sliding across the packed snow. Very dangerous.

I go to the Meals on Wheels program in the dining room here. Further, my observation of the complex is that the public areas are very clean, the apt. Tenants are very nice and welcoming to guests such as myself.

There I volunteer at Meals on Wheels. My brother ought to live there.
