One of the biggest mistakes I've made in years is buying a Lennar home. Their sales lied about appliances and upgrades and HOA. We didn't learn about the lies until late in the process, when it was too late to walk away. We were very frustrated. The mortgage team used some underwriting protocols that were extremely unusual. We ended up using an outside lender, and lender was shocked by the things Lennar had done and said. Lennar Mortgage basically ignored some typical FHA protocols, which our lender thought might actually even be illegal. This company is unethical and shady. Not only are the homes they build shoddy and sub par quality. But they treat their employees like garbage. They worked their salaried construction managers 60+ hours a week with no additional compensation aside from promising a bonus. They didn’t meet their year end numbers even after closing homes that are not finished and forcing 18 hour days. So to make up the numbers, they laid off several employees the week before Christmas. To top it off, they with held promised bonuses that employees counted on for Christmas. When asked about it, they wouldn’t return calls or emails.

60+ days late closing. Poor communication ongoing. No house keys or mailbox keys 3 weeks after closing. Would not buy Lennar if I could do over again. No one knows who has the keys - constant chaos on most fronts. Beware!

Pretty homes but horrible services... you guys work with terrible staff... you guys work with Eagle Home Mortgage make customer apply online for nothing... after apply customer have no answer... they just say (Natasha Morales) I’ll work with your credit!!! Then just run your credit and then no answer anymore... we have wrote several times emails, text and phone calls and no answer. They put the house PURCHASED and when you call to Lennar, they says IT’S AVAILABLE from the Main Office of Lennar... then FELIPE FARIA the seller from Estates at Lake Hammock in Haines City, call back and say oh! It’s available... what’s going on? You want to sell or not? are you kidding me??? Are your staff playing with people time and just run their credit for nothing??? Did you #lennar #lennarhomes #lenna
