I had good service right up until I put the house under contract. Loan process was smooth. But my salesman was nice & available until I signed the purchase agreement. I was due to close in 12/2025, but current home was not under contract. I was given a 30-day extension. A week later I was sent a cancellation notice. No one's seems to know why or care to explain. Here I am a month later and still haven't received my binder deposit. So, you cancel my agreement without explanation and ghost me when I try to get my binder back. They were nice enough to get my business, but not nice or anywhere to be found when they cut me off. This is not good practices. My experience has been disappointing and poor to say.

Read the comments, I wish we did. The people tell the truth. I am extremely disappointed in my experience with Lennar Homes. Not only did they fail to meet their promised closing dates not once, but twice, leaving my family scrambling to find another place to live, they also refused to return our $5,000 deposit when we decided to cancel our contract due to their inability to deliver on time. To add insult to injury, they have been dragging their feet in providing us with the necessary documentation to officially cancel our contract, making it difficult for us to take our business elsewhere. Beware. Many problems from the start. We built a new home with Lennar, and things were forgotten, like screens for windows. A bathroom vent simply fell out of the ceiling after one year. Scratches on cabinets. Uneven walkways. But they'll refuse to fix things. This is a DIY house.

I would never purchase another home from this company again. The quality of their homes is really good. But that is as far as I would go. They have the mentality if you don’t buy our house someone else will. Their customer service is terrible. I am supposed to have closed on my house And they had a week to fix the final things from the walk-through. I made it clear I needed to close a week later because there was only a few things that needed to be fixed. They do not care about my needs. Very rude and unprofessional.

The worst home buying experience we have ever been a part of. We purchased a Lennar Townhome in the Shearwater Community in St. Augustine, FL. The trouble began at our final walkthrough. The builder was not only rude at first encounter but almost none of our requests were handled correctly or professionally. In any location we made a request for paint to be touched up, paint was swiped across light fixtures and on to our carpets. When we brought paint in the carpets to the builders attention, their resolution was to cut off the surface of our carpets in the areas where drops were made. We were told “the paint would easily wipe off the fixtures”. It has yet to come off.
