I am extremely disappointed with the level of communication and responsiveness from the HOA. There is little to no effort made to properly communicate with homeowners. Phone calls routinely go unanswered — I personally called three times before someone finally answered on the third attempt. Instead of addressing concerns directly, the office sends text messages but then fails to respond when a reply is sent back. Additionally, it is concerning that staff are physically present in the office yet do not answer incoming calls. This ongoing lack of responsiveness and communication is frustrating and unprofessional. My experience with this HOA community has been very disappointing, and I expect a significant improvement in communication and customer service moving forward.
Purchasing a home with Lennar was simply easy. The agents there are professional, and they maintain contact with the purchaser. I actually hired a real estate agent to help me from another company, but there was more correspondence between me and Lennar agents than it was with my own. The company I hired did not tell me much. We moved in our home in March 2024. The agent from Lennar contacted us in February 2024, and kept us abreast of the status of our new home. He also sent us pictures and answer any questions we had. We moved in, in May 2024. Lennar agent continued to corresponded with us at least once weekly. He welcomed us to the new development and he answer additional questions we had. I am extremely disappointed in my experience with Lennar Homes. Not only did they fail to meet their promised closing dates not once, but twice, leaving my family scrambling to find another place to live, they also refused to return our $5,000 deposit when we decided to cancel our contract due to their inability to deliver on time. To add insult to injury, they have been dragging their feet in providing us with the necessary documentation to officially cancel our contract, making it difficult for us to take our business elsewhere. As an active duty veteran, it is disheartening to be treated this way by a company that claims to value its customers. My wife, and i just closed on our first home, and we went with Lennar at Saddle Oaks. It took us a year to build, as we signed when the community was dirt. John the sales person stayed by our side the entire year to make sure we were taken care of, every step of the way. Our Construction Managers Jacob, and Travis went above and beyond in EVERY aspect of our home to make sure it wasn't just another "builder grade" home. We are beyond happy with our new home!
To be sure, I'm only giving three stars because of the sales person we worked with, Monica. The community is otherwise great, love that it's in a place where there's still so much nature around and so little light pollution at night. So yeah, I'm happy with my home and the community thus far! But my experience working with Monica was very positive at the start, she was incredibly helpful and intentional with her time when selling us the home, but in the time waiting for it to be completed it was almost radio silence unless I reached out to her. Maybe it's less on Monica as an individual and more on the communication pipeline for all buyers that were waiting on updates as the community was being built, but it made our experience buying our very first home less than ideal.
