Lennar at Belle Harbor

I put my down payment on July 7 on a new home in Belle Harbor and Lennar still hasn't called with completion date. It is now March 18. So far terrible experience. I sold my home in New Jersey in October hoping for a realistic settlement date sometime in March. I had 3 house's built before and never had a issue. This is how you run a company? Buyer's Be Ware. 1to 5 stars minus 5. Bad experience! Hopefully I'll be in my new home before Year end.

I just wanted to take a moment and share with the entire Lennar Belle Harbor team my appreciation regarding the outstanding support and guidance provided throughout the construction and recent purchase processes. I must honestly confess I was frustrated by the early unexpected delays and uncertainty regarding an actual delivery date. I fully appreciate that the construction was taking place in the midst of the ongoing COVID pandemic and resulting labor and material shortages. Once things got started, however, I was fully impressed with the team’s responsiveness and follow-up. This appreciation goes across the full purchase spectrum from sales, construction, mortgage and insurance, all of which are affiliates with Lenair I especially wanted to pass-on my appreciation and compliments to Brad

Great location, golfcart to the ocean, Market Common, movies, bars, restaurants, nice variety of model homes available. Homes are well built and Lennar was great before, during and after the sale. Neighborhood is very nice with a good age mix, everyone is very friendly and happy to be there.

I am updating after one year. In early June of 2022. We had a rain storm with minor winds. I went to front of house to find 12 foot section of trim missing. I reported same to Lennar and was advised one year out of warranty and that it was caused by wind. If it was wind damage then why wasn't any other home around me damaged? Lennar advised that they would have builder reach out on the 10th of June. As of July 11th I have not heard a thing. I will post pics of issues regarding Lennar homes after just one year in the near future.

Salesman did not appear to have much interest in answering questions. Look around and if you have any questions let me know. Neighborhood doesn't have a lot of appeal, but it's new so it may get better with time. He volunteered little information, I had to ask questions to get anything out of him.
