This area was once the largest Hohokam village in the north of phoenix.. these homes are built with those rocks and pottery under the home’s foundation read the others comments drove by the new builds to see if we wanted to buy but after doing historical research and seeing the foundation is actually rocks with art on them we are passing lived in a haunted home once and will not go through that again especially Native American sacred grounds. Beware of Lennar Homes I purchased a home in Peoria, Arizona one year ago from Lennar Homes. Everything went well until I discovered an uneven countertop in the kitchen where the water runs all the way to the floor because it was uneven. After many back-and-forth about it, the conclusion was that it was within the allowed margin and there is nothing Lennar will do about it. I tried to complain to the Better Business Bureau but to my surprise, maybe not, Lennar is not an accredited business by the BBB! Before buying a house from Lennar, Make sure you bring in an independent inspector because fixing a countertop in the kitchen is very costly and they don’t care if it’s within the so-called allowable margin. This company is quite literally bulldozing our heritage. And for what - cookie cutter apartments? They built these homes on the last vestiges of a Hohokam (Native American) village, farms, and burial grounds. So much of this precious history has been irreversibly stolen from us by those in an unrelenting pursuit of profit. In light of this, I implore you to consider the corners they cut to make profitable homes.
