Hard to put the disappointment into words. Issues include… HVAC, drainage, crawlspace, concrete, insulation, doors, carpet, painting/finish work, tile work, tub, shower… the list is long and still finding issues weekly. The on site PM is great but management above him couldn’t care less about giving you a quality home or giving him good subs to deliver quality work. I’ve met with management, trust me. For example, day of move in I asked Ben, the production manager for Richmond, if he would accept the quality of the trim work as it was painted without being cleaned. The trim we paid $12k to upgrade looked and felt like sandpaper, joints had large gaps, it was a mess. His response was ‘Well, I don’t have this trim in my house.’ Never got an apology. I wrote out a very mean review of this company, as it's not worth your time, i provided examples of what to look out for, but at the end of the day, it was my fault that they were so sloppy in their building of this house. They are not in the service industry, they are in building houses as quickly as they can to move onto the next project. These are not custom tailored homes, these are adjusted stock homes. If you want a nice house which is top of the line, this is not the company to build with. Get everything in writing, and fact check everything they all say. I didn't, and that's on me. Don't believe anyone. ever. This world we're in now, sucks.

I was very happy with the sales team when I built my home with Craftmaster in Magnolia Green. They were very helpful in guiding us through the home buying process as it was our first home purchase, I recommend them to all my friends!

Stay away. Many other honest builders out there!
