Legacy Apartments

Thank you! First to Darlene, Liberty, and Maintenance Staff!! I have found the grounds on the entire Property beautiful. I have lived here an Amazing 8 years and recently downsized to smaller apartment. The NEW place called HOME was a smooth transition and very GRATEFUL. I hope residents and future residents can appreciate this place that offers so much. Kindness and patience goes a long way

Well, where do I start? I agreed in the office agreed that I would move in on 18 July. I was shown apartment 1906 and was told that 3203 was not available as they were getting it ready. I really like what I saw in apartment 1906 and agreed to move forward. I was told that today was the last day which was July 11 To submit an application for apartment 3203. So against my better judgment, I went ahead. I had a very nice young lady to show me the apartment name Fatima, but she was brand new and did not really know the property. She misinformed me about the apartment 3203. I repeatedly asked her if the bathroom was in the bathroom and she stated no everything is the same except you don’t have a den. Me and 2 roommates all shared a 3 bedroom apartment together at this complex. We only went with this complex because Amanda, the old manager raved about it. But safe to say this was one of the worst apartments I've lived in. There were always issues. Right off the bat when moving in we noticed it was HOT. The AC would not work at all. We had maintenance over at least 4 times in the first 2 weeks and they basically said it won't get more than 10 degrees cooler than it is outside and that its an old building. Imagine sweating in 90°+ Texas weather and coming into your apartment and somehow its hotter?? Our apartment rarely made it below 80° in the hotter weather which is most of the year. I want to start off by saying, I love the staff, the women at the front are nice and try to help when they can. However, this is a warning for the next person who plans to move here. I don’t know about other units but mine came with roommates. By roommates I mean roaches. I came from poverty and living with roaches was a personal hell for me. Now that I live alone in area where I wouldn’t expect to see them, they’re everywhere in my apartment. Photos attached. “Pest Control” has come out 3 times so far, but what ever they’re spraying is just making things worse. The roaches are coming out even more now. They’re in my kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, closet, in my clothes, on my couches…THEY’RE EVERYWHERE! I also have a multitud of Mud Nest in my outside closet, “pest control” never came to remo

I’ve been living here for two years and for those two years they shut off the hot water every week. Please don’t come live here there’s also a pest problem during the summer ant hills all over the place. For how much you pay at these apartments I would expect better. If you call the front office there’s an older white lady that will answer with attitude and try to cut you off. So the front office isn’t helpful. Just avoid these apartments at all cost I believe the maintenance people are the only ones that care about the well being of these apartments.
