LCOR Inc is the owner and manager of a number of apartment buildings in the Washington, DC metro area, including the Sage Apartments at 480 11th St S in Arlington, Virginia, where I reside. As of 6 January 2026, a number of Sage apartments, including mine, have been without heat since 14 December 2025--24 days. I reported the outage on 14 December. On 16 December, LCOR’s property management team notified me and other affected tenants via email the team had identified an unspecified failed HVAC “compressor” as the cause of the failure and stated a replacement compressor had been ordered. On 17 December, the team communicated via email a replacement compressor was estimated to take approximately one week to arrive, which would mean around 24 December. Never rent at a LCOR managed property. The management here and at the Cielo modern residences at 300 m st ne DC is truly incompetent and has no respect for tenant rights. After our August leak, they did not provide other accommodations for impacted tenants and simply told them to contact their renters insurance. LCOR/Cielo is also not transparent about utility and common area fees. Their policies are continually changing. Transparency is completely lacking for this building. Given the constant construction now and dehumidifiers throughout the building, our utility bills will go up and they have not been transparent about this matter or helped tenants whatsoever.

I don't ever write reviews and I honestly don't remember the last time I have written one. My frustration is really big at the moment. I would not recommend this complex/this real estate company (LCOR Incorporated) to anyone. I had an extremely bad experience with the leasing office at Altaire apartments in Arlington, VA, property ran by LCOR incorporated. I never received my deposit from the online application I submitted on September 17, 2020. After I applied, I was scheduled to visit the apartment on September 21st. That day I was told my application was not complete and I needed to submit my proof of income in order to have my application fully executed. After visiting the apartment I was not sold by the size and the view that they were advertising could only be enjoyed by a few other
