The Lavanch is a locally owned and managed gem in Capitol Hill. It is is hands down the best apartment building I've ever lived in. My partner and I rented from the owner (Kia) for 3+ years and she is truly the best. We'd still be living here if we didn't have to move across the country! Her and her team are so attentive and caring. She takes great care of the property and truly cares about the tenants. They are very responsive and make communicating anything very easy and seamless. If you need anything they are quick to take care of it for you. The Lavanch is a beautiful, art deco style building and there has been great care in preserving the details that make the building and units charming (original wood floors, original light fixtures, stained glass, door hardware, etc.). My partner and I lived in the Lavanch for nearly four years. We have lived all over the country and in more apartments than we can count. One thing we can say for certain is that the Lavanch has been the best place we have lived, hands down. The building itself is full of charm, the location is one of the best in all of Seattle, and it is well managed by a kind, family-owned local business. Maintenance: In our four years, we had a small number of minor maintenance needs pop up, and the management staff addressed them readily and without complaint. It was easy every single time. Unsurprisingly, the maintenance staff were friendly and easy to work with and also highlight how unique the Lavanch is as an apartment building. A cute art-deco building in a quiet neighborhood that is conveniently located to just about anything you could want. Kia and her team are quick to respond to any issues and Lavanch really is a great place to live.
