Laurel Gardens Apartments

This has been one of the worst renting experiences I’ve had. My apartment flooded and management assured me I would get a refund. It’s now been months (since July) and I still haven’t received anything. I’ve reached out several times and keep getting ignored or given excuses. Flooding is already stressful enough — not being compensated after being promised is unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My husband and i have tried paying rent in person 3 times now because they want a money order in person, and no one is at the office! There’s no drop box and no online payment system. It is 3:34pm they are supposed to be open 9am-5pm. I took off work early to try and pay rent since they weren't at the office yesterday before 4:30pm when my husband went to pay. Mind you we also tried paying last Friday and they weren’t here.. This has become a huge issue and is affecting my job having to take off when they aren’t ever here!! I took off in the morning time about 2 months ago to pay rent because my husband couldn’t get off in time that day to pay it and waited here past 10am for someone to show up! How are you coming in an hour late and closing over an hour early but expect us to make the pay

My sister lives at this complex has 3 small children they have been without AC this complex still has them sitting in the heat. One of her children is medically fragile who just got out of the hospital last night! She cannot be in this kind of heat. Not only that issue but her children cannot even play with chalk outside!! Something that washes away with the rain. This place is not kid friendly don't recommend....

Just know after you leave you might not get your deposit or whatever they owe you back. They’ll tell you they will and never do

New staffing is great. Office manager is very helpful and attentive to any issues or problems.
