Please be aware. This real estate group is very unprofessional. They did respond to every maintenance request, however I had more bad experiences than good. You can ONLY TEXT them, they do not do calls. They will leave you outside and not open the door even in an emergency. They made promises they will not keep. The property I moved in air broke, they left trash in the yard, wasps nexts everywhere, and medicine in the cabinet. I recorded a video because I couldn’t get out of my lease. I was 6 months pregnant and the leasing company left a unit outside in the rain knowing I didn’t know how to put it in the window. While the apartment itself was nice, the owners are terrible people! They withheld half of the security deposit as a "cleaning fee", but yet when asked would not provide any information as to what was allegedly dirty. Not to mention, they already said they hired a cleaner between each tenant, so why am I paying for it? We left the apartment spotless. When asked to discuss the withheld security deposit, Lauer absolutely refused to communicate. Letters, emails, going in person, phone calls, for months with no response. When they finally used their big boy voices, they responded with threats. Just another example of a greedy, selfish landlord with no customer service skills. If I could give zero stars, I would. This leasing company was one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had with a rental. Communication was almost nonexistent, they would take forever to respond, if they responded at all. When we moved in, the smoke detectors were not even up to code, and every wall in the house was covered with cheap flat paint that left water streaks in the bathrooms no matter how much we cleaned. The back door didn’t fit the frame properly, so our air conditioning just escaped right through it, costing us money every month. On top of that, none of the windows had screens, which made opening them impossible without letting bugs inside. Maintenance was a nightmare. Be so serious right now. What kind of property management company DOES NOT TELL ITS OCCUPANTS THAT THE HOUSE IS BEING BOUGHT FROM UNDER THE OWNERS? You literally owe it to them to not ghost and explain what is happening. On top of the fact that the roof leaked at any sight of rain and never came out to fix anything as crazy. Do not rent from this company if you see houses for rent. It is clearly very poorly managed and I have no idea why property owners would even trust this company to lease their houses for them. They’re better off doing it on their own.

I scheduled a viewing for a rental property at 1:30 PM and communicated ahead of time that I would be a few minutes late due to traffic. I even called for help finding the address. Despite staying in touch, no one showed up and my calls went unanswered when I arrived. When I did speak with the agent, her attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional. The lack of communication and courtesy made this a very disappointing experience. Don’t even waste your time. Definitely wasted my time!
