Las Palmas Resort

This is the third time we've been here now. The water slides and the pools are always the highlight and we probably developed webs and gills on this last trip. The location is also great, being just about 10-15 minutes away from just about anything one could need. The only downside is that they don't allow dogs, but that problem can be solved with a little bit of planning.

Great place to stay. Very clean and central location. Many amenities. Good hosts. Only glitch was the elevator broke down while we were in it, and was out of service for our stay. Only on second floor so not too bad getting to our condo. Enjoyed our stay.

Has potential but they need to address a few things: 1) The free weights in the fitness center are garbage. The bench press almost fell over and killed me. Dumbbells are strewn all over. 2) They have two nice pickleball courts, but they are aligned east/west. Who does that? It’s impossible to play in the evening cause the sun hits you in the eyes. 3) The pool table is absolute trash. Felt is torn up and bumpers falling off. 4)They kind of act like nazis with access to the pool area. I get they don’t want trespassers, but the level of effort is overkill. Taking the key and making you sign in and out is a lot. All that being said, the grounds are very nice and the pool area generally is great. Can’t beat the location. Stayed here and was very disappointed. It is very ran down says luxury resort on the listings and it’s far from that. All their activities were bad from not having a level area for volleyball to their nets all being ripped up pool table unplayable. And the gym policy’s made it so we couldn’t use it. The pools were 6 out of 10.

Wonderful complex, love the pools and amenities. The unit we were in (1217) was great. Definitely would stay here again.
