First review: Been here 3 months. Leasing office staff have been very helpful with all of our questions, and for the most part keep an open line with us via phone, email or in person. My dogs love it! We love it ❤️ Compared to Felony Way (Federal Way) these streets is quiet lol I think it's what we love most about the place. The gates are working again, and I feel safe knowing there's cameras everywhere. No tweaker activity that I could see as mentioned in previous reviews. One of the worst rental experiences of my life. 15 months of pure awful. Mold growing out of the walls, packages constantly stolen off of my porch and out of lockers. Laundry on site doesn’t work consistently. Our apartment flooded at least 5 times from upstairs (we had ground floor). They will bill utilities through a 3rd party company. We ended up paying an absurd amount on a small 1 bed. Throughout all of this, management was almost impossible to get in touch with. It was a complete guessing game if they would be open during posted hours. Frequently closed for multiple hour lunch breaks. They never responded to emails or phone calls. The only good thing was the maintenance team. Always very friendly and trying hard to find a good solution. Management was a complete mess.

Lakeside Landing has been an amazing experience so far and I have only lived here for 4 days! Before moving here, I was struggling with my old apartment complex and how awful I was treated as a first time renter. When I found Lakeside Landing, let me just say that the Leasing Consultant, Yolanda, has been ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I spoke with her on multiple occasions regarding my move out date at my old place and requesting an accommodation for moving in. She spoke with the maintenance team and got the apartment ready for me immediately after I found out my move out date was earlier than I expected. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! This was one of the worst rental experiences of my life, I would give zero stars if I could! The units have black mold in the walls, and despite communicating this with management multiple times, nothing was ever done. My cat now has mold induced asthma from living at this property and has cost us hundreds in vet bills to diagnose and treat. I have added a photo of the mold visibly growing out of the walls in our closet, which ruined multiple items that we had stored. Management is abhorrent; they never answer phones or emails and my husband and I frequently had to go to the office in person just to be able to get any semblance of a response, but the office hours were never consistent and they would often be closed during their open hours with no notice. I lived at Lakeside Landing for four years. What I experienced was not just disappointing — it was unsafe, negligent, and deeply unprofessional. The property markets itself as a “gated community,” but the gates rarely function. When they do, it lasts days at best. I was given a gate code that never worked and was forced to use a generic #1234 code. I was refused a second fob for my second vehicle. During my residency, I witnessed two deceased individuals on the property lawn as a result of shootings. Management’s response to crime is a rehearsed line: “Crime doesn’t have a zip code.” That statement is dismissive & inaccurate.
