Long over due review…my apologies! My aunt became a resident of Lakeside Gardens for Seniors in July 2025 and her experience - no, our experience with management has been absolutely phenomenal!! It saddens me to read reviews that are disheartened and less than satisfactory however keep reviewing because it’s how we help each other. My aunt is a disabled person with wheelchair mobility, and her independence is utterly important to her. Jalisa James manages this property & an adjacent property. We met her after we had a meeting with a former manager who spoke to us abruptly on the property. Jalisa’s professionalism spoke volumes as she listened to both sides without taking sides. Yes, I would love very much to offer my opinion about this place. There has been several management but none in my opinion are doing a good job! They have finally fixed the front door but that doesn't stop people from leaving the front door. There are no rules in place to keep the residents from keeping this place clean! People are leaving their disgusting trash on the floor where you dump the trash. Before you know it, there will be a problem with rodents.The place is not sanitized on a daily basis and these people do not always wear masks like they should! The management is too cheap to hire people to really take care of this place and run it efficiently like it should! Things are always breaking down in this place and it takes forever to get things fixed!

I have family that lives in this apartment complex. Management has changed multiple times because of this our seniors are affected. No consistency in exterminations, keeping the complex clean, or machines working properly. Just recently many of the residents received late notices for the month of June rent. For majority of the month, there was no management on the premises. Residents dropped off their rent payments in the drop boxes. Due to no one being on site, the rent payments were picked up late and deposited late and now management has sent late notices out to all of majority of the tenants requiring them to pay late fees. They are trying to penalize the tenants for their failures. This post is to document the on-going problems that exist within Lakeside Gardens Senior Community.
