Lake Village of Fairlane

My husband and I lived here for a year and we so enjoyed our time living here. We are TRULY sad to leave. The complex is fairly priced given its quality and amenities. It’s a short drive from beautiful downtown Dearborn & close to Detroit, the grounds are well kept, maintenance is on top of your requests, and my husband and I felt safe living here. Robin & Brenda are great to work with & always pleasant. We would absolutely recommend living here!!

Amazing . . . Really wish they'd bring back their Turkey. Sauces, Potatoe Salad, Drinks, & Survice are all A+ in my book.

The first contract I signed here, they whited it out after I read and I signed it. The day I was supposed to move in, they called me to tell me I would need to bring another (larger) stated amount for my deposit and I was very confused by that until I saw the "updated" contract. It was very sketchy, but it ended up being alright I guess, it was just very odd. I was also told that the apartment was cleaned before I moved in. (my fault for not seeing it before moving in) it was absolutely disgusting. I did not invite anyone over the entire time I was there because it was humiliating. The carpet should have been replaced at a minimum. That was horrific. The apartment pros are that the square footage is really nice to have and they are pet friendly and I never actually had to have too much

I applied for a one bedroom, met the requirements except I would not send them copies of my bank statements, which is what they wanted in addition to paystubs. I sent paystubs but I think sending my bank statements is a bit intrusive…I also think this is wrong and no other apartment complex has ever asked for copies of bank statements. But that is there lost because I would have been a great tenant. I’m quiet and clean.🤷🏽‍♀️

I have lived here since 2012 my first two years was on the third floor I loved my apartment. I’ve since moved to the first floor and the last two and a half years of living on the first floor has been the worse. I’ve complained to the front office regarding the tenants above me who has no regards of being polite regarding stomping when walking above my head. I pay rent just like they do and I deserve to enjoy my apartment just like they do, management does not seem to care they only put letters in their file. The tenants above me knows that nothing is going to happen and they continue to walk like no one lives in the apartment below them. I can’t break my lease I’m stuck here until December 2020 I would not recommend this apartment complex to no one. All tenants should be treated with resp
