Lake Clair Apartments

Probably the best housing for someone wanting a quiet, uneventful apartment complex. The grounds are always very well taken care of, the management is excellent and the rent was very reasonable for everything considered. The area this complex is located in is one of the safer neighborhoods in Fayetteville and very convenient for commuting. I will definitely miss being able to dash home for lunch. Amenities were always well taken care of and maintenance was always quick to respond. The only criticism I ever had was with it being an older building the walls are rather thin so you can very easily hear your upstairs or downstairs neighbors.

Lake Clair is hands down one of the BEST places to live in Fayetteville. The Manager Tammy was so kind and helpful during my process moving back to NC. She answered all of the questions I had because it's my first time living on my own. I met Wilmer and Israel, they make sure the property is well maintained and pretty. They are always friendly and accomodating when I see them. Love my new place and being in nature. The neighbors I have are welcoming and hospitable. Great area to live if you want peace and quiet. The day I moved in, I had found a card and welcome gift in the kitchen which was a nice gesture. Thank you Tammy, Israel, and Wilmer.

We had a one year lease at Lake Clair and had originally planned to stay for two years, but we were very disappointed pretty quickly. The counters are made out of plywood in the original units (didn’t realize during the walkthrough), which I settled for so we could be on the third floor with vaulted ceilings. At first I thought there was some type of mold next to the stove but it was just nasty, fuzzy plywood sticking out. The shelving in the kitchen cabinets are practically impossible to clean and it shows. The water damage and humidity stains are crazy, there’s about 4 more spots not pictured here. When I called maintenance to fix the ill fitting ceiling tiles that were falling out, and replace the tile with water damage from the air conditioning unit, they only replaced one. The new on

I've lived here for a year now...it's peaceful, neighbors are friendly and caring. Staff is dedicated and helpful always. Management always has planned parties for all of us to meet and greet, and the entire compound seems safe and clean. Apartments are single bedrooms but very spacious and pleasant compared to the gated apartments my friends live at down the road from us. Plus, it's closer to my work, shopping, restaurants, downtown and hospital.

I lived at Lake Clair Apartments for five years, and I left only because I was moving to another state. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone, and if I happen to move back to NC, I won't look anywhere else for housing. Responsive caring management, very helpful maintenance guys, nice location, pretty grounds, spacious apartments, peaceful and welcoming ambiance - what else can you wish for!
