Ladera Apartments

I moved in to this horrible place in April 2025 and moved out in August 2025 due to a job relocation. I paid all the expenses required to break the lease and I paid for the apartment to be cleaned which I paid $300 to have it cleaned, the person who cleaned it was recommended by the office staff, I was informed she did a very good job cleaning. When I first moved in I put in a deposit for $500. so, I was sure that I will get the full deposit considering I left the place better than when I got it. so I waited about two months but I did not hear anything form the leasing office not by mail or email, so I called and spoke to Fatima, who is suppose to be the office manager and she promised me that the check will be sent to me asap. so, I waited about three weeks and nothing, then I contac

Wow! Very excited to begin a journey at Ladera Apartments. From the get-go Robyn was amazing, from being incredible during phone calls and answering my millions of questions, to touring the specific unit I was interested in, and the Eryka coming in clutch with the final move-in. Great team at Ladera/Legacy. Beautiful property. My partner and I got a wonderful unit, by far the best that I had toured out of all the apartment in the Green Valley Area. Don’t let the negative reviews fool you, this team and apartment complex is wonderful. I noticed a problem before submitting my move-in inspection with a heating/cooling/thermostat issue and it was fixed by the next day. RATS!!! Do not rent here. Most of the positive reviews on here only mention the tour for a reason. Do not be fooled by the nice first impression. IT'S ALL A TRAP. I moved in and at first had few problems, but that was short-lived. The first issue happened at move-in. When Southwest Gas came to turn on the gas, the technician told us the stove was in hazardous condition: the flame on one burner overfires and is too tall, which can produce CO2 when cooking. The technician locked the stove, saying it could only be used after maintenance fixed it. Management never properly repaired it — all they did was unlock it and tell us not to use that burner. Shortly after, my air conditioning system in my apartment was dripping water on the floor, creating a constant puddle in my hallway. Maintenance

Predatory money hungry company and dishonest manager. Wasn't going to leave this review but due to Ladera apartments nonstop harassment and troubles let me tell you.... Be warned Ladera has a "60 day notice to vacate" fourm. The form is not mentioned in the lease agreement. It only mentions "written notice". This is by design. I gave them written notice via email, as well as told their manager Karina we intended on moving our 68 days before the move out date. She said "ok". ( No forum mentioned ) Very very conveniently, they didn't think to tell me about the "official" move out form till after the due date had passed. And have been barraging me with bills telling me I owe an extra months rent. I have sent them countless emails. I have gone to their office. I have left countless voic
