La Valencia Apartment Homes

La Valencia is a great place to live if you really have money to dispose of. It is situated in a great location which was the main draw for us as it would be close to my fiancées' job as a teacher and the park in front would be nice for relaxion. The issue starts with the utilities which all except for electricity go through them and even though it's supposed to be consumption-based we were paying close to $200 on water alone and it was just the two of us. One parking is provided and if you want to find additional parking it is really hard as it is always crowded. But what made us decide to leave was the new lease "offer" that was made after our year was approaching and it was an increase in our rent that was non-negotiable. I have lived at La Valencia for awhile and the location is the best. Easy access to Hwy 17 & 85. Close to downtown Campbell. It is an easy walk to enjoy the Sunday Farmers market! John D Morgan is a great place to take your dog for a walk as La Valencia is pet friendly. The grounds at La Valencia are always well maintained. The manager, Shannon, and Yuli, the maintenance guy, have been great to work with. I appreciate how quickly they have taken care of any issues!

I had a reservation at 2 PM, but when I arrived the office door was locked. We had to wait outside in the cold for several minutes, and when someone finally came, he made strange faces at us like he was mocking us. Very unprofessional. We asked to see a 1+1 unit, but he showed us an apartment that was already rented to someone else, and even told us to enter the home with our shoes on—which felt extremely inappropriate. They also spray the trees in the community, but there were no warning signs anywhere. This is something pet owners should be aware of for the safety of their animals. They advertise “specials,” but apparently you must apply right at that moment or it won’t count. I received excellent and charismatic attention from Ronald, who took the time to calmly show us La Valencia's website and how to apply for the apartment we were looking for. He also gave us a tour of the facilities and available apartments. It's worth noting his calmness and kindness in leading this tour, as we were traveling with my grandmother, and he guided us at an inclusive pace. I would definitely look into a property with Ronald and La Valencia again.
