Where do I begin, dealing with the front office namely Wendy Daughtrey has been difficult. I am a Disabled Veteran, that has worked as a Project Manager and Inspector for the past 15 years, that being said, when I am moving in/out of a home I am meticulously with the quality and state of home I enter/leave a place. I was very disappointed with the quality of work and the condition of the appliance. I moved into a 2bd rm that had the carpet replaced, that was great. That was all that was great. All The windows were warped, causing air to freelying flow into the apt this was a major problem in cold/hot months as the HVAC was continuously running, resulting in high usage and charges. Unprofessional and dishonest company. Their Collections department will manipulate any and everything to fatten their pockets. No integrity at all. Will never again reside at a KPM property and would not recommend. Update: My review serves as warning to anyone considering renting one of their properties. This company has completely destroyed my rental history and good standing as a renter all because they claimed I had excessive damages. I received a bogus bill after move out citing $1,000 worth of damages. Blatant lies. I’m lappalled and extremely disappointed that they would treat a good tenant such as myself as this. 4 years later I’m being denied on renting properties because this company sent me a bogus bill for damages and turned it over to collections. I purchased my home 20 years ago in Warrington Hall Estates. I’m currently replacing all my windows because from day one, they were bowed and leaked air. Even a greater travesty was noticed 1 week after I moved in, there were curved deep scratches in my windows. I brought it to their attention and was immediately told how do they know I didn’t do it. My response was “why would I damage my brand new house windows?” The cleaners that they hired to clean the house scraped the windows of plaster and other debris. Notarized is a just say no to everything, non caring with horrible customer service I would not have them build a dog house for me. They are all about money and nothing about quality. If I could give 0 stars, I WOULD. Be prepared for them not to answer your calls or return them. I live at Lakewood Garden Apartments, which was built in 1979. My HVAC system was installed in 1982. It's 40 years old and has gone out more than once. One of my most recent power bills was $240 for a 732 sq ft apartment!!!! I understand that Dominion raised their prices and I live on the 2nd floor and it's been obscenely hot lately, but that's no excuse for me to have a power bill as high as someone with a 5 bedroom 2000 sq ft home. Their maintenance tech, Sam, is grossly incompetent and insisted my HVAC worked fine and I had it set too low (it was set to 69 and he told me to put it at 72). This company will not replace it because they were able to "fix" it. It runs on R22, which was outlawed

I recently just moved into the Crystal Lake property and had a fairly pleasant experience up until the last few days. I relocated to this property from several states away and had been dealing with Shana who was phenomenal. There were a few move in date changes considering they are not on site on the weekends so essentially you have to sign the lease and get your keys on a week day which can be a lot while moving from another state. When I arrived Friday evening to move in, I discovered that I had no heat so I called for maintenance first thing Saturday morning in which the nicest gentleman showed up and worked on the issue all day to no avail. He had to come back on Sunday with his boss AGAIN to no avail. Finally, on Monday they sent another person to replace whatever was broken and then
