Knox at Metrocenter

Keep looking please trust me if you are looking for an apartment to stay at, don’t be fooled by the prices or location. Sharika always has a nasty attitude regarding the smallest question you have regarding anything that has to do with your rent, amenities, or other services regarding the community. Parking is a joke, there use to be a service online where you can look for open garage spots or awning. They took that away. They tell you that you need to pay for parking, there hasn’t been a boot person in 2 years. I honestly believe they are pocketing your park fee because they don’t give out decals for your car anymore. You won’t be able to park in front of your apartment and the gates are always broken, to where the gate to walk in is always open. This place is unsafe and unprofessionally

Do not move into this apartment complex. I lived here for three years and just recently moved out, and unfortunately, every experience I have had here has been inconvenient and frustrating. While the unit I lived in was nice, the rest of the community's facilities were not well-maintained. The doors and gates are often broken, the hallways and elevators are consistently dirty, and the dog park, I don't think, has never been cleaned. Every time it was time to re-up my lease, there was a price increase, and RAM management was unwilling to work with me, regardless of my tenure at the apartment. There has also been massive staff turnover consistently over the 3 years I lived there. The fees to break the lease are outrageously high — even if you have a legitimate reason to move, the management

Sharika was excellent communicating with me and taking the time to tour the property with me. The amenities are exceptional (gym, pool, grill area, quiet space, game room.) Although I did not commit to a lease due to work assignment, I will definitely look to check this place out in the future. Thank you.

After an upstairs leak made our unit unlivable, I tried to transfer within Knox. The process was chaotic: holds fell through, instructions conflicted with the portal, and I kept ending up without a home. With a 4-month-old baby, this felt like being effectively homeless—and none of it was our fault. One statement was especially concerning: I was told by staff that a 3-month-old cannot legally live with parents in a 1-bedroom and that we must take a 2-bedroom. When I asked for the written occupancy policy or legal citation, none was provided. Later, I was told there was an identical unit available; when I checked the unit number, it turned out to be smaller. The ENTIRE Knox team has been graciously supportive and kind since my move-in date last year. The challenges and time it has taken to recover and stabilize from the toll that COVID took on my family and I, as well as me as a small business, were of course unexpected and unlike anything that I have ever experienced. Living in the Knox has provided a sense of community, safety and joy for me. I have never had a place that has felt more like “home”. I find myself protecting and participating in the Knox way of life. It is truly my live, work, play community. I am less than 3 minutes from my job where I can safely walk, drive or ride my e-bike as well as live the healthy lifestyle I cherish.
