Kirkwood Manor Apartments

Really wanted to rent from this location. The staff were not communicating at all. Our showing was late. No one would ever call us back after the showing. Finally spoke with someone days after our showing. To be told the apartment we wanted is available and to complete the application because the apartment has had a lot of traffic. Was told I would receive a callback from the manager once she was off the phone, so maybe in an hour. This was at 3:17pm, I called back at 5:06pm (the office closes at 6) so I could get the correct building number, no answer. Called back the next day spoke with the original person who gave us the showing (Finally). Only to tell us that the apartment is taken then, had us speak to the manager because someone else told us that. The manager made it very clear that

Friendly service. Nice apartments. But maintenance is very horrible. Been waiting for a replacement of my manual key for a month and a half. Called and called, "I'll give them your phone number" was always the reply. Nothing. Zip. Nada. Haven't been able to check my mail for over a month!!!

This apartment is a freaking joke! Good luck renting from them or even getting ahold of them. My family and I were supposed to move in May 31 from Colorado we paid the $100 holding fee and did the application. We signed the lease and the next day I was supposed to speak with Sonja to pay the first months rent and deposit she never called and I couldn’t get ahold of her. I called them first thing the morning of May 10 after signing the lease on May 9 and spoke with Nathaniel trying to get ahold of Sonja to explain our circumstances that we were unable to make the move at this time due to a loss in the family and other issues and needed to figure out options. I was told I couldn’t speak with her for the next week because corporate was there but that he would pass the message along and get it

This has been by far the worst rental experience I have had since beginning to rent 12 years ago. It's been two months and my walk through notes have not been fixed, tenants use the laundry room at 2am which is several hours after the posted time allowed which it clearly states on the wall and when people are trying to sleep, other tenants disturbing your sleep constantly, and maintenance and cleaning crews have entered my apartment without me knowing the time or leaving paperwork in my unit upon leaving as they are supposed to. I have had cash stolen from my room when I was at work, my bedrooms flooded because of broken gutters (the complex knew about the problem but didn't act right away instead waited) a note left on my door saying work has been done which nothing was ever even started

Horrible apartment, the manager and her husband like to intimidate and harass the people. I would never recommend this place to anyone, unless you want to get discriminate by the manager.
