Kensington Woods

lived here for 1 year in a 3 bed 1 bath. only having 1 bathroom with 2 roommates got old but it was tolerable. in my experience: no roaches, no bedbugs, no mice. some house centipedes and spiders but i lived on the first floor. i would live there again if i had to. the pool and gym aren’t much to write home about, and i had a package stolen once, but decent place to live for a young adult for sure. it was my first apartment, i would’ve originally given it 3 stars, but after the professionalism they upheld during a roommate dispute, and seeing how pests intrude at other apartments, i think kensington deserves a higher mark. give them a tour, it’s a great great great location.

Don’t do it. Run away. We lived there for 3 years. They don’t answer their phones and there is no sense of urgency for maintenance requests. The ONLY way to get ANYTHING done is to go to the office and talk to the office manager herself face to face. The parking lot is a known dumping ground for stolen vehicles. Resident vehicles are broken into so often that the police don’t even come out to take the reports anymore. The pool takes an extra 3-4 weeks to open every year and always closes a week or two early, and is closed more often than not during the season with zero communication… which is great when you have a toddler you just got dressed and ready to swim and walk over there only to find a lock on the gate. I have lived here for 6 months now. I came from a NIGHTMARE situation at Maple View down the road. I wish I found this place sooner for sure! It’s clean, close to everything, I can walk around outside with my dog at 10pm and feel so safe! There’s a pool and a gym. Free cable and internet. And our office staff are the most awesome people! Sally is a true gem. Hope she stays here forever! Chris in maintenance is lighting speed at repairs and extremely knowledgeable! I’ve only really had one issue with my excessively loud upstairs neighbors but the office staff does their best with the situation.

I have lived here since August 2022. I have got to say that I am so grateful I found this place. Sally in the office was so helpful and reassuring during the initial move in and has been a great help sense. I enjoy having conversations with her when i go to pick up my packages from my locker. I have only had to put in 2 work orders since I moved in and they were quickly evaluated and executed. I am glad I found Kensington Woods. Thank you!

This apartment complex is great! They address all issues in a timely fashion and are always looking for solutions! Crime in the area? They are installing cameras and putting up notices. My washer broke? I got a new one in a week. Comes with pool, gym, park near by, walking/bike trail, garages, stores near by, and the employees are very responsive. Is it the fanciest apartments? No. But my family and I enjoy it, we feel safe, and the staff here care. They keep my peace-of-mind in mind.
