Living at this apartment complex has truly been a great experience. The property is always well-kept, and that’s thanks to the incredible maintenance team. They are quick, reliable, and genuinely care about keeping everything running smoothly for the residents. Anytime we’ve needed help, they’ve responded promptly and handled things with professionalism and kindness. I also want to highlight Janet and Dawn—two of the best property managers we’ve ever had. They are always friendly, approachable, and willing to go the extra mile. Whether it’s answering questions, resolving concerns, or just being a welcoming presence in the office, they make the community feel like home. Overall, we’re very grateful to live here and truly appreciate the people who keep this place running. Highly recommend!

I rent an apartment above a privately owned unit- this was not disclosed to me during the application process. This unit is rented out to a heavy smoker which has impacted, to quote my lease, the peace and quiet enjoyment of the unit. When I had contacted the rental office about this issue, they stated I was not correct in my complaint, but still, they issued a cheap air filter and painted the downstairs private condo (admitting their fault while still telling me I am wrong about smelling and physically seeing cigarette smoke in my apartment). I was also informed, "This is why the previous tenants moved out." I have been sleeping in my car on and off for months because I cannot breathe in the apartment I pay JCM to live in; this private renter does not pay JCM to live in their unit. At

I am writing to share my experience attempting to tour an apartment at Ken Gardens. I was under the impression that touring a unit does not require submitting personal documentation in advance. I scheduled a 3:30 PM appointment and drove 45 minutes to attend. For context, I currently lease an apartment for $2,000/ month with co-signers, so I did not expect difficulty simply viewing a cheap non luxury one-bedroom unit. I am a registered behavioral technician and direct support professional having years of experience with blind/deaf DDD patients. My occupations and co-signers are only in the background by CHOICE to pursue my career in school and aid in financial assurance. I offered to provide proof of bank statements and she declined my offer unless the statement had over 200,000 in the acc

community is quiet and friendly, and the grounds are kept clean and well-maintained. The location is super convenient—close to shopping, restaurants, and major highways, which makes commuting easy. Parking is available and the neighborhood feels safe. The staff is helpful and responsive whenever maintenance is needed, which makes a big difference. Overall, it’s a comfortable, affordable place to call home and I’d recommend it to anyone looking in the area.
