KB Home West Canyon Trails

We closed on our home in April 2021, it’s 2025 and we have an entire wall of electric sockets that don’t work all of a sudden from the left side of our fireplace to the back door. Our ceiling fan and light for our extended patio does not work (on the same wall). Of course electrical issues are only covered for two years after the build so we’re are SOL. We’ve had 2 reputable electricians come to figure out what’s going on and there is no explanation why there is no power to any outlets in the living room left wall. We’ve spent hundreds of dollars on inspections all needing to paying thousands for rewiring, cutting into dry wall, and new dry wall, paint, and texturizing. In our master bedroom the floor is at an incline so our dresser looks like it’s drooping down from our bed. Our neighbor

I have heard mixed opinions on this particular builder. I personally have not had a bad experience. I can honestly say that their homes are beautifully decorated. They don’t offer many options, however the packages that are offered are very tasteful. They build in a clean community and offer various amenities.

First - the team is upfront, knowledgeable and willing to help. 5+ starts for the team at KB Canyon trails. The location is beautiful and easy access to the entire area. The rating lines up more with the fact that my cheap apartment has better features than the standard home. It is literally an upgrade to have matching fixtures or non- Formica counters. Other builders in the area have much more to offer in their standard home for the same (or better) prices.
