KB Home Shoreline Park - Sterling Collection

I have debated taking the time out to review KB @ Shoreline Park for sometime now but if my experience can save one family from going down the road we have traveled, it will have been worth it. These people are expert sales men. They will play on every single moment of vulnerability you show (even your faith and family). They will promise you things in ways that you could never imagine someone not fulfilling their word. And the SECOND you sign your contract, and fill out their survey, you will no longer be of value or importance to them. Your expectation of a well built home will be “high expectations” and if it’s not in writing “it never happened”. They are pros at selling you a dream. But if it wasn’t for the neighbors I've met (all of which had the same experience) I would have not one

One of the ugliest developments in San Antonio. Don’t believe me? Come out to Shoreline and see for yourself. KB salesmen will say about anything to get you to purchase a lot and then when all the lots are sold - they will do whatever is cheapest and then leave you hanging when they leave. HOA fees go up to clean up all of their mess and cheap landscaping, shallow pools, and restrooms (no amenity center as promised).

Ill advised and poorly built subdivision on the south shore of Boerne City Pond. It used to be a lake, but a 3-year drought has caused it to dry up to about 30% of what it once was. The homes are squeezed together and the entire subdivision is not Boerne-like at all. Buyer beware.

We have purchased two homes from KB and have been impressed with their warranty program. I would recommend purchasing from KB. You can be confident that they will go above and beyond to make sure that your home is repaired and completed to your satisfaction. Update: This neighborhood is not great and KB is not being honest about it. Water bills are outrageous and the restrictions make it impossible to keep a lawn or have even a tiny garden. There is no pool and there is no real plan for one anytime soon. The new neighborhood manager leaves a lot to be desired and they are happy to cut you loose after you have been living here for 365 days. Very pleased with the sales rep Wes. Very nice, responsive, and helpful. Gave great answers to every question. Will to come out and show the lots. Knew his stuff.
