KB Home Legend Heights

Buying a brand new home should be one of the best days of your life. Where do I even begin? Discuss the problems? Discuss the multiple departments I have delt with? Discuss the individual employees and their supervisors, regional managers? I don’t really know. Let’s begin with, don’t BUY a KB Home EVER!!!!!!!!! We moved in April to nothing but problems. you know when you do the blue tape during a walkthrough? Well we still had blue tape everywhere. Outlets didn’t work, the phone jack was put in the living room instead of the kitchen. I was told to fix that would take a week and they would have to rip out the ceiling and a wall in the kitchen and living room. We passed on that so they gave us a ceiling fan. I lost $6,000 from my earnest money deposit. Additionally, between my initial upfront deductible in December 2024 and May 2025, the home’s value has dropped by $20,000. This situation, combined with concerns about the build quality, has been extremely discouraging. ADVISE TO NOT DO BUSINESS!

Jon was a great rep for KB. He showed us around and allowed to absorb the KB homesites. Jon is very knowledgeable and did not pressure us. We did not go with KB for our build because we just fell in love with a different company. We didn't see nothing wrong with KB or Jon. Give this spot a chance.

My wife and I bought a home in Legend Heights that was built by KB Home. First of all, the sales consultant, Diane Tran, was excellent! She was extremely helpful during the contract phase and the choosing of options. During construction she provided updates with photos every one to two weeks. She was always available and very professional!! Construction and quality of materials used by KB Home were above average. The construction went smoothly, and the construction manager provided timely updates and was available for questions. The home even completed ahead of schedule!! My wife and I are extremely happy with our KB Home and would highly recommend the KB Home Team to anyone considering a new home -- Choose Legend Heights!!!

Edit 2 8/20/24:Ok, so yesterday morning at 3am they started setting up to pour sidewalk concrete around the pool. Did anyone else hear this was going to happen? Same as before. By 340.. Honking. Banging. Loud noises.I have added a new pic so that the time is shown at 344am & 449. Spoke to Jeff and he was extremely apologetic because of the continuous amount of issues. Not his division.. but still KB HOMES. We are light sleepers and this is ridiculous. We have expressed concern about it happened at 4am and now it’s 3am?? Foreman TOLD law enforcement he was aware he was in violation of city ordinance but continued to pour anyway. When’s this going to stop? And still, no representative from KB has reached out.
