Junction Flats and Landing

Really enjoyed living here. Love the surround area and California Avenue. Very close to the bus stops for the C-Line to downtown as well as Water Taxi, 55 to Downtown, 50 to the Light Rail, etc. Less than 10 minute drive to Alki Beach. There are 4 grocery stores within walking distance and numerous restaurants. Management is great and quickly fix any maintenance requests. I love the rooftop terrace with great 360 degree views of the mountains. The apartment is very nice, lots of storage space, my only complaint is I wish there was my counter top space while cooking. Appliances are all great. Other people who live on my same floor are very respectful and quiet. Sounds don't carry through the walls. Would've easily resigned my lease but I had to move to a different state for a new job.

Management is unhelpful. Spoke to them 2 weeks ago about a neighbor who plays bass at all hours of the day and night so loud that my floor shakes. Once even had things fall off shelves from it. Still haven’t received a call or anything from management and all I wanted was for them to talk with this person. They clearly haven’t, as I’m dealing with it as we speak. I’ve even had to contact the police about it and filed a report. This is a serious issue and I wish they would have listened to me. But with the revolving door of leasing agents and the fact that the property manager doesn’t work in our building people don’t follow any rules. From smoking weed in their apartments to having parties going till 1am. It just seems that people are allowed to break rules and do whatever they want here a

I’ve lived at junction flats for two years now and life circumstances are taking me elsewhere but I will be sad to leave! Dana runs a tight and organized ship, is quick to address issues and fix problems, and has been a great leasing manager. Maintenance is timely and friendly. The building itself is clean, quiet, and the residents are super friendly and everyone seems happy to be there :) the best part is the location, right off the California junction there are so many coffee shops, restaurants, and cute shops and the farmers market is right around the corner year round! Beautiful views from the rooftop. Would absolutely live here again!

This is a review for Dana Buckner. The property manager. I tried to apply to live here last October and she told me that since I have medical and dental debt (under 8k in debt mind you) avenue 5 wouldnt give me tenancy. In which I went to 2 other avenue 5 properties and was told otherwise. I then looked up laws and found out what she did was illegal and bias. Her friendly demeanor seemed forced. Avenue 5 do better.

My husband and I have lived here almost a year now after relocating from Denver. This is the BEST apartment we have lived in - and we have moved around a lot! The building has prime walkability located in the heart of the Junction, but is nestled on a very quiet, tree-lined street. The building itself is clean, new, and has a killer rooftop. We have met more friends in this building than we can count, and feel truly cared for here by friends and staff. Maylin, the property manager, is amazing! Bubbly, welcoming, and quick to respond to any resident needs. Tim, the maintenance technician, is a kind and knowledgeable professional who we feel more than comfortable helping us in our home. We look forward to calling Junction Landing our home for quite some time!
