The snow storm was Saturday evening (January 24th) and this is what our roads look like on Thursday evening (January 29th). HOA says it is VDOT’s responsibility to clear the roads of Jordan Crossing and VDOT says it belongs to the HOA. I guess no one will be safely driving on these roads until everything melts. Townhouses aren’t bad, but HOA makes things harder than it needs to be. Edit: In response to the builder, yes, I do actually find that the townhouses are relatively good quality. If the HOA could be improved, it would make the complete homeowner experience equal to the quality of the homes themselves.
I am adding a nine month update. When we purchased, a listed amenity was twice/year power washing and window washing that has now been changed to "soft washing as needed" with zero communication to the homeowners. There also is a non-age restricted neighborhood being built adjacent to the development that will use Princess Lauren Lane as an entry/exit point.
I purchased the Beverly floorplan in May, 2025. I chose this community because of the ability to make some custom selections and I appreciated that the builder is local, on-site and high-quality. These are the pros of this community in addition to the residents, location, and the fact that each unit has a private elevator. The cons of my experience include the agent for this property, a relative of the builder, who many times made misleading statements throughout the process and didn't properly communicate with us on deadlines, delays, or billing concerns. One example is receiving an email on 10/11 that selections were needed by 11/5 or there would be delays. We very much tried to stay on schedule with our selections and paid for any overages through a construction loan. But on t
Walls are super thin and HOA has been poor. I tried to let the owner know, but it was blocked by the realtor who was completely rude. I definitely would NOT recommend. Buyer beware.
Bought my home here back in 2021 and it couldn’t have been any easier. I was able to choose different finishes, wall colors, cabinets, counters and flooring. Turned out exactly how I pictured. I would definitely recommend this neighborhood/builder.
