John B Hughes Apartments

I lived here from 2019 until last month. They were only kind to me when my husband lived here and wr paid a good amount of rent. When i became a single mom and my rent dropped their attitudes changed. They never fixed anything in my apartment. My kitchen sink leaked for over 6 months, the bathroom had no baseboard, my heat would go out for weeks in the winter and only three lights worked properly in the house. We had no hot water for aomost two months this year. Every apartment has roaches, they spray but it wasnt until i left for a few months and bombed and cleaned the place out myself that the bugs went away. I had a man who wasnt on a lease but living there anyways stalk and threaten to shoot me. Kids run around without parents threatening each other with orbee guns and getting into tro

Took longer then expected to get approved but the manager was always friendly and helpful with anything I needed while going through the process. Have not had any issues living here and any that I do have the manager is on it asap! She's cleaning house getting rid of trouble and making this a much safer place then it was 5-20 years ago. Security always on sight making rounds as well as in call ready to help of a issue does arise. Monthly bug spraying and clean premises thanks to the awesome maintenance guys always cleaning up after the lazy ppl that don't know how to! I have no worries of raising my teen son with disabilities here. The kids that he's met have all been friendly and they watch after each other like they should. So glad the new manager is here because John B. Hughes is NOT

The property is so quiet and a great place to live. I am a mom of two and they have an amazing place to play outside they keep the grounds so clean and safe for families. The landlords are amazing and will bend over backwards to help the tenants but have cleaned this place up ten fold and won't take no drama of any kind! I love living here and will be here for awhile.

I have watched this last year the transformation taking place, not only to the apartments it self but, with new management and the residents. The management and program director Truly have a huge hearts for this place. I have many friends that live there and rent assistance has helped them get back on their feet. Program director has monthly activities planned for the entire complex to join in on (adult/children). I know in the past it might not of been such a great place to live at. But, all it took was for someone to start to care and a whole lot of prayer to see real changes.

This is to the Management, until your attitudes towards others change, then John B Hughes will reflect itself in you. Nice management team nice Apartment complex, Qualified Maintenance Personnel equals a well maintained Apartment complex. Leave things undone for too long equals more money needed to spend to repair or replace things. To get rid of all bugs you need to heat or fog treatment for every apartment in one day and treat the areas around the apartments. That way the roaches and bedbugs have nowhere to go and come back.
