We chose Goldsmith Construction to build our home in Mt. Olive Shores North after touring several other homes they built in our community. We moved into our home in June 2021, and couldn’t have been happier with the features of our home and the quality of the build. Goldsmith Construction builds high quality, custom homes. They were open to our requests for modifications to the floorplan. Our home is the most beautiful, comfortable place we have ever lived. We would highly recommend them to anyone considering having a custom home built.

Joe Goldsmith Construction Co, a family owned business, is a great custom builder. We purchased a spec home (casita 1,261 sq.ft.) in Bay Lake Motorcoach Resort in Polk City that was under construction but were able make modifications to the plan. The entire team worked with you from the beginning to the completion of your home with excellent follow up and communications. Onsite construction personnel were available through their cell phone numbers. They have a change order system in place to document and communicate any changes. Goldsmith has built lasting relationships with their high quality subcontractors. They have quickly addressed the few warranty items we had after moving into our home. If you are looking to build a custom home we can highly recommend them.

Regarding our experience with Joe Goldsmith Construction Co, it has been very positive. Starting in 2020 with the purchase of an empty lot in Bay Lake Motorcoach Resort in Polk City FL culminating in the construction of a casita, we have been very impressed with all facets of the project. The project included pavers, a screened-in tiki hut, all utility hookups for both an RV and the casita and landscaping. From the office staff to the on-site construction leads, all personnel have been outstanding. And all sub-contractors used provided great workmanship and responsiveness. The office staff provided great recommendations for local vendors and a steady dialogue with us regarding financial details and coordination of product deliveries. Much appreciated. A very frustrating experience. Purchased a new home from Goldsmith and part of closing was adding a half bath. It has been over 11 months and is still not completed. It would not be as far along if I did not ride the two area supervisors like I did. Many no show no call meetings by the Goldsmith supervisors as well as not returning emails and texts. The cherry on top was when Sarah from their office sent me a email saying they would billing me as soon as they fixed the light. They did not mind making me wait for almost a year but they want their money ASAP. Buying a new home should be a pleasant experience but Goldsmith ruined that for us.
